Hey Craig, have you tried these from Drew Estate? Acid One...very good! Online says non-aromatic but these are tasty!

I’ve had those a couple times - they come in the 14pc. variety tins that I get sometimes from Cigar International. Pretty good.

 

I cant handle the sweetened tip they use. That’s why I like the Root so much - it’s unsweetened. The Dirt is very similar to the Root but with a sweetened tip and I can’t deal with it. Is there a version of the Kuba Kuba without the sweetgum cap?

 

This is what my wife calls a “commitment” cigar.

Very good. They are a bit sweeter and for some reason the Candela style does not stay lit as well?

 

Sweater than the Blondie, interesting. I think the Blondie is pretty sweet.

 

I don't often enjoy cigars, but I'm in Colombia for another week and will be bringing some cigars back. Cubans are available here, which should I get (if I can find them)?

 

Not a lot, just a little bit. It’s the candella wrapper - the green ones. They make them in blonde, blonde belacoso, Kuba Kuba and you can get them in the tins as well. I see the blonde,tins, and Kuba some places but the belacoso I’ve only found once.
My local shop doesn’t carry any of them but the tins. I have to go out to King of Prussia or CI in Hamburg to get them.

Got a project done on the truck today so this was my reward.

I’ve also had a few of the “cold infusion” style recently. To me they’re more mellow flavor that the blue labels. Long cigar - good for when I’ve got an hour or so to sit with one.

I’m pretty much stuck on the Acid line. I think the only ones I really don’t care for are the “Nasty”. Very dark and not appealing to me.

Me too. I played golf the other day and brought a couple, the Nasty being one of them. Couldn't finish it, it was...well...nasty.

Will.have to try the green wrappers, my local doesn't carry them.

I'm.with you, pretty much stuck on Acids. I wad a Nub fan but lately they are a distant second place behind my Blondies

 

Cohibas and Montes. Make sure they are the real deal, lots of fakes out there.

 

I would get a couple Davidoff’s if they’re reasonably priced.

 

I think I’ve had them three times - only because they were included in the sampler tin I bought. It’s unfortunate, pre-lit they actually smelled promising.

Blonde’s are still my favorite all-around cigar. Perfect size for when you want to enjoy a smoke but not make a commitment.
