I never inhale them. I was a smoker for 20 years & quit in 09. Cigars are meant for taste.

I quit smoking cigarettes 20yrs ago, can’t stand the smell of them, have no interest in returning. Cigars, why yes I do inhale, otherwise it’s like drinking coffee or scotch just to swirl it around and spit it out.

My last candella Kuba Kuba. Very good smoke - I find them a bit sweeter and lighter than the standard blue label Kubas. Hoping for a good burn out of this one - it’s been sitting for several weeks.
So far with nearly all the candella styles they end up with they start to burn uneven about 2/3 of the way through.

I’ve actively seeked them out since they are not carried by any shops that are really close to me. But because they are hit-or-miss on the burn quality I don’t think I’ll be as excited to get them as I used to be.

Blonde Belacoso’s still my favorite.

 

This was last weekend, forgot to share. These are terrible. Like smoking a nastier version of a black and mild from the gas station...

funny this thread popped up as i ordered a few cigars for vegas and bought some while there. im a novice at best. I ordered some Quorum maduro cigars on the recommendation from an old truck driver delivering some light poles to work. not bad 20 for $40 from cigarsinternational.com. went out to vegas and went to En fuego cigar lounge. the fellas in there are super knowledgeable and real nice. bought a mixed pack of 6, cant remember any of their names, prices ranged from $6-$12 ea. from the 3 or 4 i tried, the quorum were probably my favorite. mellow flavor, slow burn.

 

They had a terrible aftertaste, and I found myself spitting constantly while smoking it. I even smoked a gas station black and mild for comparison and then smoked another one of the Del Mundos. Not good. I still have one in my humidor, I may just give it away to a cigar buddy of mine so he can try it.

Funny, and you are correct. I have been cigar smoking for several years along with a buddy. Sometimes we like the same cigars, more often we have opposite tastes. If one of us gets a cigar we don't like we always give it to the other person and often they appreciate the freebie.

My local cigar store has pre made packs that range from $15-25 for 4 or 5 Cigars. I normally go for the Alec Bradley pack.

 

I do mail order with Cigars International. Looks like they may be in your backyard.
I do their special packs and get $8 cigars down to about $4.50

 

I love CI. The Hamburg superstore is a great place to hang out for a while.
