You might have air trapped. Only fill it after you purge it to remove any last remaining fuel and air.
Try purging it to completely empty it then refill it.

How do you all like those cigar of the month clubs?

 

I like the cigars international shipment. It’s $20 and you get 4 cigars. It’s usually worth $25 or more. And sometimes you get an expensive cigar like a davidof.
Haven’t tried any of the others.

 

Picked up a couple I've seen on here quite a bit to try, my local shops have great selection.

Any humidor suggestions? Brand new to cigars and just got a humidor jar but like the look and sophistication of a real humidor

 

I've been rocking the Herf-a-Dor traveling humidors. I have a 5 stick and a 15 stick. Both run on Boveda packs and a humi-care sponge.
I only use distilled water in my humidor though, I don't want anything that may contaminate the cigars. Which I'm pretty sure is the proper way.

Distilled water and backing soda is also a good way to get rid of battery corrosion so I keep it handy. Wife also uses it in her stained glass saw.

 

No need to spend a lot. Something like this will serve you well. I have two of these, in different homes.

Idk if they are still doing it but CI was doing 5 packs a humidor and one humidor accessory and a lighter all for $79.99. Got it in an email, jumped on it, and ordered a bunch of cigars.

What Humidity products does everyone use?
So far I use Boveda packs + Humicare Sponge soaked in Distilled water.
Picked up the deal I posted above and decided to try out the gel sticks.

 

Well guess it's time to try some Gars again... Got the urge now, might as well.

 

This is a smoking deal, they actually have some expensive cigars for the included price.

 

I know, I stopped mid getting ready for work just to grab it. The 50 count humidor alone was worth the price of the bundle.

I grabbed one. Humidor, gel packs, torch and 15 cigars for about $92 after shipping.

 

I added few extra sticks, I mean that 50 ct humidor is gonna look pretty sparse with only 15 in it.

 

I'll hit my local shop, they always treat me right and have a huge humidor. They'll be happy I'm stocking up lol.
