Looking for advice. New smoker. I seem to go to fast, feel a little sick, or to slow and have issues of the cigar going out or not producing much smoke. Any suggestions

You should be smoking about once every minute. Don't ash the cigar like you would a cigarette, ash will fall off on its own. If you're indoors and want to deposit ash in ashtray, you should be rolling the cigar against the ash tray not tapping if that makes sense. A properly seasoned cigar that hasn't been out of the humidor long should stay lit for a good while even when not being constantly smoked.

I have a humijar with boveda 69 pack in it. Hygrometer says 68-70 all the time. Pulled it out and smoked the cigar an hour later. Just a little past half way burned I let the cigar sit for maybe 2 or 3 minutes, trying to slow down some, not wanting to get cigar sick again. Was drawing about every 45 to 60 seconds or so previously. After the 2 or 3 minute rest I couldn't hardly draw any smoke. Decided just to end my session.

I don't know then, it varies so much it's hard to say. Maybe the nicotine is just too much if you say you're new. I chewed tobacco for a long while so a cigar is no biggie. If you really enjoy them, just be patient, maybe try a different cigar.

My Cigarsinternational order got delivered last night while I was at work. I was very upset when I got home and the box was wide open on my doorstep. Thankfully nothing was missing. Gotta season the new humidor but I need to grab distilled water on the way home.

I haven't had the sweets yet, got some coming.

Called CI about my order sitting in limbo since the 7th so they said theyd investigate it and immediately sent out a new package.

Dang that sucks. I'm gonna avoid usps for a while where I can, last two packages were torn /damaged. Thankfully contents were OK but come on.

I also need to try the sweets, but the originals are so good I can't imagine they're much better.

It was through UPS, but apparently a certain service with UPS is they hand it off to USPS at the back end of the shipping. I'm assuming it got lost at that point. But the last scanned location was like 1 hour away from my house....

Mine had no updates for like 14 days before I called CI. Next day it was tagged under investigation and I had a new box coming.

My humidor is giving me trouble. It was sitting at 70 for a good bit. I switched to boveda from humicare power stick and now it's at 60. It's a 50 count humidor and I used 2 60 gram 69 packets according to bovedas website recommendation. I pulled them out and put the Humicare back in but now it's staying at 60. I'm stumped.

For about a week and a half it held right at 69 68 with the boveda then dropped. Packets are still good, not hard at all.
