    It's Tri-tip and Chicken cooked over Mesquite from this little hole in the wall Mexican BBQ in Santa Maria, CA. I do the 7 hour round trip about once a month so I make sure I stop there and get a family pack. 1 Lb Tri-tip, 1 whole chicken, rice, beans killer hot salsa and chips. I bring a cooler so it's still warm when I get it home.

    I wish I knew their marinade for the tri-tip. It is so good. Same with the chicken. The skin is red from whatever they put on it. I added the cilantro.

    We have pet rabbits, they love it, so there is always lots of it in the fridge. Maybe I'll try it on some rabbit's.

    The Works.
    Tri-Tip Cilantro Marinade
    1 bunch fresh Cilantro
    As much garlic as you like
    1 Tbs whole grain mustard
    Grated peel of lemon
    2 Tbs Basalmic Vinegar
    2 Tbs Olive Oil
    1 Tri-Tip seasoned with salt and pepper
    Add all ingredients to blender/food processor
    Marinade a couple hours or overnight
    I recommend BBQ with hickory wood chips

    Momma's Cilantro Chicken Kebab
    1 bunch Cilantro
    1 Tbs fresh Ginger
    1 Jalapeno
    1/4C Soy Sauce
    1 Tbs Rice Vinegar
    1 Tbs Sesame Oil
    1 lb cubed Chicken
    1 Onion cubed
    1 Red Bell Pepper cubed
    Bamboo Skewers
    Blender/food processor 1st 6 ingredients
    Marinade chicken a couple hours
    Skewer onion-chicken-pepper and so on
    BBQ using hickory wood chips
    This recipe attracts nosey neighbors
