I understand you can use a handful of diced cilantro for feet and ass (I don't think onion would be pleasant though). Maybe that's why people don't like it.

Southwest chicken stew. With plenty of cilantro!

 

Due to the unseasonably-warm weather we’ve been having lately, I decided to do some grill some Georgian Mtsvadi last night. My marinade was pomegranate juice with red wine vinegar, peppers, peppercorns, garlic, sea salt, and (of course) a heavy dose of cilantro. The cilantro gives it a pop like nothing else.

 

I cannot pronounce Mtsvadi but it looks delicious

 

I had to google it. It's a Georgian recipe of Grilled pork in pomegranate. Pretty much what @Mopar Mussel described it.

Been watching this thread 5 yrs or so...yanno, for the literary prose and such whatnot. Steered away from cilantro just cuz of this thread.

Got ambushed today by meatballs embedded with the poison ivy of cooking herbs as it seems. No...fck no.

But mucho Gracia to the content provided in the past 5 yrs to at least allowed me to recognize the symptoms of said vile poison.
