Wish I could, looking like I might have some work stuff and that's the weekend before my 3 week southeast road trip.

    Appears more expensive than Pelfreybilt.

I haven't seen much that's all that appealing for 3rd gen front bumpers, yet.

    But I own a 2nd gen...

The only 3rd gen full bumpers I would say I "like" are the All Pro baja one and this demello. I do like the bumpers that just cut out the black part of the 'chin' (a la SSO Slimline) but I want to cut the corners off the front bumper cause I think that looks cool.

Cough up the cash and I'll personally deliver a Pelfreybilt bumper to your front door.

Appreciate that offer, but I'm not currently looking.

I was saying that nearly every front bumper on 3rd gens looks gross. It's due to their gargantuan grille, can't be helped.

Thanks, but headed up to my parents north of Dayton to do the install. We should have it covered.

If I'm looking for a house with a 100% loan, what makes you think I have $1k for a front bumper? :D

Not ruining my current credit score to apply for a credit card to buy your wrong bumper.

The life goal, possibly unrealistic, is to be debt free long as possible

Using credit and PAYING ON TIME builds credit score, not sending it lower.

Not MY bumper. It belongs to Pelfreybilt. I get nothing out of it. Just trying to help friends AND jack with you!

Opening a fresh account does lower it though, and it takes a disproportionately long time to get those points back.

Honestly, I think the whole 'credit' system is a joint scam between lenders to have an excuse to hike interest rates and pocket more money. There is no reasonable world where it makes sense that someone with no debt, no credit cards, money in the bank, that pays for everything in cash should have a worse credit score (read: more risk to lend to) than someone that's tens of thousands in debt with 5+ cards.
