Anyone interested in buying a M1A scout squad? It's had 10 rounds through it since I bought it and that's it. Bought it to build into a SPR and the chassis I wanted for it is no longer available so the build is now a bust for me

M1A's always pissed me off tbh. They're cool, sure, but I like my rifles accurate, and out of the box, the M1A really isn't. When I buy a $1500 gun I expect $1500 worth of accuracy, not a gun I have to put another $500-$1000 into a proper stock to unlock the true potential.

The one I have punched pretty accurate out to 600yds without any effort

But I know what you mean
But that's also why I got a Springfield

To be fair I'm nitpicking .5 moa vs the 2-3 moa that most M1As are reported to be out of the box (besides the loadeds, etc). Precision rifle shooting and making my own ammo has spoiled me on accuracy, but I get that it's not a bolt gun. Still irks me a bit. Besides that, it's a cool platform. I'd probably still have my socom 16 if someone hadn't offered me a DDM4 for it

The night shoot is well worth seeing in person, and it's fun to shoot a full auto if you haven't.
