There's an ulterior motive as to why the city of Huntington laid off so many fire fighters and police officers, and then other officials got more perks the same fiscal year. When, in fact, both were already under staffed and feeling pressured. Of course, the police didn't get it as bad as the FD. Being the mayor's pawns n all that.
