Well, that wife has approved LBL '18. We'll see if she holds true. I'll be leaving her with a 6yr old, a 4 yr old, and a ~2mo old....

Greetings, I am new to CB radio. I received a Wilson Little Will and mounted it on my Tacoma over the cab. I checked the SWR, cut off ¼” as directed, and checked SWR again. Here are my results

    First check 26.9 MHz 1.9

    27.4 MHz 2.5

    Second check 26.9 MHz 1.5

    (after cutting ¼”) 27.4 MHz 4.0

My question is, is cutting another ¼” the correct next step? Let me know please and thanks for your help.

Mine worked out of the box too

But you also need to be checking SWR out somewhere where your truck isn't close to anything. No cars buildings trees ect. Doors closed.

Then, yeah another snip and check. Maybe try 1/8". Most new ones have a set screw near the base and you can just move it up and down
