How much did a cap cost you guys? If you don't mind me asking... I'm thinking about one but also want to purchase a lift this summer so it might have to wait

Mine with taxes and such came to $243x.xx something for how I ordered it.
It's an X series, Yakima rails, electric lock, side windoors, fold down front sliding window.

Hi all, Lebanon here! Question for 1st gen owners. What dealership did you have your frame warranty done at? How helpful were they? I am looking at buying a 2003 but the frame may be a little rusty, and I want to see if Toyota will cover it. I know this has probably been asked a million times but I'd love to hear from some locals! The truck is in awesome shape otherwise. If they don't cover it, and the frame is still safe for the time being, what would you recommend to do as a way of getting more life out of the frame? Its a low mileage, clean, and very well taken care of truck otherwise. Thanks!

Thanks! I am going to see the truck in person in the next few days, hopefully bringing it home if the frame isn't too bad!

Picked up an ARB bumper and I'll be wanting to do the endplate mod, but I have absolutely zero welding skills/knowledge, anyone available to help?
Performance Toyota wasn't terrible when I had my frame sprayed, FWIW.

I have the 2.7l 4cylinder. It doesn't look too bad. $1000 at the dealership, or $200-ish and time away from the fam.

I'll be installing my OME kit, BAMF rtt rack and CVT mid Aug. Looking forward to eventually meeting up with some Cincy wheelers when I settle back in the area October-ish!
