    2 stroke vs 4 stroke. One is way meaner, one is now illegal. EPA standards definitely limit an engines performance from factory, without a doubt.

    I used to race quads and junk. Manufactures can no longer "Make 2 strokes" in America any longer because it doesn't meet standards.

    Yup, pretty dumb. I believe like 2006 was the last year they were made in America. You could still get them in Canada a little while after that but I believe that has stopped as well now. A whole lot meaner of a motor than you could make a 4 stroke motor. I had a 14ft long drag Banshee that was the fastest thing I've ever sit on, would put my rocket to shame. Dyno'd 116hp to the rear wheel on something that weighed about 250lbs lol. Would run 200ft in 2.9 seconds and 300ft in about 3.7 seconds. All motor, no nitrous, just methanol.

    Here's some quick passes of some tuning. Believe it or not I don't too many pics of it or videos cause I didn't have a GoPro then lol.
