+1 on don't pay 'professionals' to install your suspension stuff. If I can do it, you can too! And we're almost always willing to help around these parts

So what you guys are saying is that I shouldn’t pay my mechanic friend to install my needle bearing and my two new front wheel hub assemblies?

Ok, I’ve received the ECGS needle bearing replacement bushing and I’ll have two prebuilt hub assemblies for the front sometime in the next week or so. It’s either time for me to schedule an appointment at my buddy’s shop or gather some experienced help, find a date that works and plan to pickup beer/pizza. What say my fellow Tri State Tacoma peeps?

Also, hello to the guy in the white second gen who waved to me on Camargo Road in Madeira the other morning. If you’re on here the truck looked good!

I figured I might as well start going through the flashcards and stuff. Alot of the general electronics stuff I can think through, but the damn 'what's the frequency for 2m FM simplex operations' type shit that you seem to just have to memorize I'm just guessing on all of lol

Make sure you study the new material. I got a 26/35 my first attempt at the practice exam, which is exactly the score needed to pass. Need to do some work. I'll probably aim to take the real exam next month sometime.

Maybe we should just try to go to the place Matt took his before the next orfw meeting
