Really guy?? Look heres the skinny... I've been beating my taco since 2007. I found this thread because someone suggested I stop here and make myself known. I originally thought it was because of 5 years professional wrench turning experience plus I, and a few other of my close Tacoma owning friends, have pushing the limits of the tacoma in some ohv area nearly one/two weekends a month for over 10 years And could pass on a tip or two. But it seems it's more to one up one up one another.
If you want to pass off wisdom, simply as means to drive your web wheeling post count, by all means. Just know if your railing against me just to feel superior, your not helping anybody.

Ps : I'd link some pix but after you 90° bend 8 or 9 tie rods it becomes umworthu of getting the camera out.

If u don't want to be fucked beyond all measure I suggest and inner and outer tie assembly for <$50

I think Everett was the one mentioning spare parts. FWIW

    . Calm down Francis....

Take a deep breath and count to 10.

No one is " railing against you just to feel superior". Honestly I don't gaf about you Or any alleged superiority/inferiority....Not sure how anything from an internet website establish's that in either case...

No one is "driving web wheeling post count"

    Just 5 years?

    Since 2007?

I started in 1973.....first Toyota in 1984. Hell... in 2007 I'd already been doing this shit for 30 years..

But if you wanna rave about all your experience and expertice......

I'm on Tacoma #5 of my own. 4wd #17. Been doing this for 45+ years. Known hundreds of Tacoma owners that off road em as hard as anyone.... Done hundreds if not thousands of off road miles myself.....

I know of two broken tie rod ends. Two.

Know of 2 guys who carry spares....just 2....

    Really.....

This serves point 10 fold.. if you have been in this since 1973 and have only had to deal w routine maintenance issues don't discourage anyone from bringing extra parts when off-roading. It's not something your doing regularly to have any athority.

And by your own criteria of your own determination, you have FAR less "athority". (BTW. Cool use of bad spelling...it's authority, Mr Einstien)

"Not something your (*) doing regularly" .....Even if IRREGULARLY, still a hell of a lot more time/miles spent....experience with the brand.... (* you're)

I didn't "discourage" anyone from doing anything... Didn't need to.

    Kids.....

Your logic is the same is as if my mom, whom has been driving Honda made vehicle since the 70s and has never had a flat tire, said (in her experience going back and forth to Kroger) she doesn't recommend the need to transport a spare tire. And is "paranoid" if they do.

Btw being 60+ years old you stoop pretty low to call out spelling errors and character attacks. #yourcolorsareshowing

"Character attacks"? That's funny shit there...You one of those "snowflakes"? Did I hurt your feels?

Here's one! Tell us some more stories about your mommy!

By YOUR logic.... I know more people who've blown motors than bent tie rod ends... Do you suggest packing a spare engine in the glove box?

Y'all quit the pissing match! That's why no new people show up to meets and the ones that do, have a clique.
The Slade area is on the brink of shut down and getting new, responsible people into the hobby are what can prevent that.
Not everyone wheels as hard, or have the resources, like others. Myself included.
Your horses need brought down down a few feet gentlemen.

Just drove up from South Carolina to ft Wayne, IN. To have a late 4th of July visit with my folks and Gram. Thought maybe the new Cooper STT pro's wouldn't fair to well on a 1400 mile end trip, so I drove the Fiat.
    Plus it gets almost 24mpg.

I'll be floating around northern Indiana, back down to btown and Columbus, Mitchell, lake Monroe.
Then maybe over to my buddies place in cinci.
Then back home thurs or Fri.
Just walked in the door an hour ago after 11 hrs on the rd.
