Well, I finally broke down and bought the lift kit(OME w/ Dakar leaf pack, pre assembled spring/strut, LR uca). It gets delivered Friday. If any of you guys are able and available to help me install it I would love the help! I am a rookie/novice when it comes to wrenching(hell of a carpenter, plumber, equipment operator though) so I dont have a lot of the tools or experience to do the job myself. I'm always willing to get dirty and learn though! I have plenty of space at my house if you bring the tools or would be willing to drive to somebody's house that has all the tools. I can supply food, beverage, tunes, laughs and 2 hands.
Let me know what days/times work for anyone willing to help!

    2) On the westside of Cincy, less than 10 minutes off the Rybolt Exit off 74
    3) Not looking to install this weekend so not really in rush. Can do weekends of 9/28 or 10/13
    4) Cool!
    5) Happy to help!

And here I was coming to ask when the next get together is.

Also, does anyone have any tips for removing siding & repairing rotting wood on the backside of my house? In the midst of redoing my back patio, I found I have some rot that needs to be repaired before rebuilding my landing & steps out my back door.

Aluminum siding, which appears to be directly on top of original clapboard siding. I need to pull it off to see how bad things are underneath. I'm hoping I can replace just the sheeting underneath & the studs are ok.

Sad truth & why I've put it off since Saturday. But the wife wants this landing & steps finished so we can use the backdoor again. So I'll open Pandoras box & start dealing with it.

I'd prefer to reuse the siding, otherwise, I'll need to replace all of it with new vinyl. This is only on a small bumpout section but I'd still rather not have to replace it all.

Depending on said bumpout, maybe Board & Batten it or something if it happens to fit in well

You can see The discoloration of the siding from where the previous deck went up to, basically the bottom of the door. All that’s below was covered & out of sight until I tore them off for the new patio to be poured.
