I just tried telling the wifey I could be finished up with our bathroom by 2pm (had water damage, just finishing up paint, trim, etc now) then if these kids were being good I could head to D & B for the evening. That's not going to happen. Wish I had gotten a pic of the look I got.

I might be able to make it tonight. My daughter has been sick so we rescheduled her bday party.

Back home again! Had a great time. Good to be able to put a face with a name after all this time!

Interesting night. Right down to being hit upon by a rather casually dressed lot lizard at the Pilot truck stop.

Now....sleep 4 a while, then up @ 4AM to go unlock the building.

it is a cool way to spend a Saturday, or even the whole weekend! I took my Corvair there a couple of times and this time I'm taking the Tacoma for the "Pickups" weekend.

We had a good time. Would have been better if I didn't have to get up before 4 AM the next morning. By the time we drove 125 miles, stopped for gas, had my brief "interaction" with a young "business woman" @ the Pilot truck stop, it was almost 10PM when we got home and took care of all the pets.

    More proof my job sux.

Did the business woman ask for a cigarette, a 'light', or a ride somewhere?

Started off with the "I'm 2 hours from home and need gas money" line.....Within half a minute, she was addressing exactly what she would do for gas money. Several issues were in play. One, I prefer women with more than 3 teeth. Two, Sandy probably wouldn't have agreed to sit in the back seat while the transaction was being carried out. Third, there was a Ky State Trooper's car parked in the back of the parking lot with lights off. I'm thinking this MIGHT have been a set up....

    I would've offered all 3 :anonymous:

Then kick her out the truck when she asked if I needed any favors in return, because I'll say, "Yes, my house needs dusted and the grass cut."

    Chances are...

It gets worse here in Huntington man! You can't even pull of to a stop sign and look both directions without the walkers thinking you're looking at them for "favors"! :annoyed:
Woman! Move the fuck outta the way so I can see if I'll get t-boned or not lol!

Hell yeah, Convoy! Sounds like you guys had a good time, sorry I had to miss it. But, backpacking at RRG was really nice, especially when we found a massive pile of shit full of hair and bones in the middle of a trail at one point lol

I'm not surprised, I know there's bears in there. We also had a pack of coyotes yip their way down the trail we were camping off of at 3am. I've not had issues with wildlife being a problem though as long as we did our part not to leave food sitting out or something. Besides raccoons and the odd snake wandering into the campsite, anyway.

Oh I actually just read that first article too, and it was in the same place we found the crap. So if the bears are on a quest for food, they're succeeding
