I suppose once a year is a fair starting point.

My trip is in post #469..Feb 13, 2016

Guess I’m a few trips behind if the once a year benchmark is the expected standard.

Y’all help me get these Steelies and I’ll remedy that absence.

That means lots of mud. Wellsville isn't far from me, and there is that place east of Canton that's open once a month.

I also live a half a mile from the 700 acres of former strip mines that Dale Earnhardt Jr. bought for deer hunting.

Seen him in the local Walmart a couple of times. He drives down the road past our driveway to get to the property. I don't know him personally though.

I still say that Rush is most likely to most "legit" place to wheel, that is even remotely close to Ohio. I'm really not much interested in the "Jeep Skool" area up north, it just looked stupid muddy. Quality trails at Rush, and idk, maybe me driving all over the place to wheel in KY/TN makes me care less about a 2.5 hour drive to Rush, but it's quick to me.

With no real park in Ohio, it's hard to get a quick fix in. I've been half tempted to start venturing around and trying to find a few places where tracks lead into the woods from a roadside, put private property and all that jazz. That IS one thing I do see a lot of in Ohio, paths clearly into wooded areas, clearly wide enough to fit a truck.

As far as pay to wheel places go Rush is still behind Black Mountain for me. Mostly cause I always break something at Rush. Too damn narrow lol

We usually hit it a few times. One of our bigger rides is usually in June.
