The best beers you've never had are at Great Crescent Brewery down in Aurora IN! Stouts, Porters, Blondes, Lagers, Ales, everything Dan brews is top notch! Only wish it was closer!! Check them out if you haven't been!

It's quicker to get to Cincy than Aurora for us.

    YMMV

Not so from where I live...

Snyder to I 71. From I 71 take 421North. Cross Ohio river at Milton to Madison. Turn east to Aurora on In SR 50. Short cut on old sr56 along Ohio river for better view. Takes maybe 10 minutes extra.

Alternate river crossing at Markland Dam.. (Belterra Resort)

I can be in Aurora from Louisville in about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes less than Cinci. Maybe quicker depending on traffic.

Our family farm is 5 minutes drive west of Aurora. Made that drive literally hundreds of times.

Provided your destination is the middle of the bridge between Kentucky and Cinci, about the same time....From that point on the bridge on the rest of the way to Aurora adds a good many more miles and a good many more minutes. The subject WAS the drive distance to a brewery in Aurora. It's still quicker and easier to go via 421 or 42 then across the bridge at Madison than through Cinci. By about 1/2 hour. Post all the maps and estimated times you like. But just make certain they aren't 80% of the way to the actual destination. That sorta makes a HUGE difference.

Like I said, I've driven that route once or twice a week for almost 35 years. You're welcome to ride along this Saturday when we're driving up there to pick up mail sent there regarding family trust that "owns" the farm. Bring a stop watch.

    Wrong.

You replied to my comment about it being quicker to Cincy than Aurora saying it was actually quicker to Aurora than Cincy.

That is in no way true.

Even if you pick a spot in downtown Cincy it is still quicker than taking 421 and almost the same time as going past Belterra.

The way you reccomend is the slowest other than going through Seymour from Mt. Washington.

This is all irrelevant, I just like to argue. I'm sure the great town of Aurora, IN makes a good beer for it's people.

The subject WAS from the beginning, the way to a brewery in Aurora. YOU changed your target location to something irrelevant to make it "right" in your world. I'm more interested in reality.

Funny thing....The people who live near Aurora and the people who've actually been to that brewery keep "liking" my post's. They actually know what's up.

I'll go to the brewery in Aurora. You drive to the middle of the Ohio River Bridge in Cinci. We both order a beer. See who gets theirs the quickest.

Let's. I also like to argue in person.

It's usually more fun with beer though.
