Cincinnati Area Thread (Tri-State, Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana)

We did it in a hard rain a total of 4 times over 3 days. Night time temps were below 32....But it was raining so hard it never did freeze on the hill. Going up was easier if you went as far to the left as possible. (More or less the old way) No "3-point turn needed) Going down, we all cut hard left and straight down the rock face. Guy at the desk said it would be changed significantly before next spring. Then again, this was from the guy who asked us if we thought it was OK to beat his teenage daughter.

 

You might want to follow directions that get you to the actual brewery. Purdy sure they don't have car hops serving beer in the middle of the bridge! Maybe they should.

 

Let's put it this way....He is the stereotypical Eastern Kentucky Hillbilly. Pretty sure the Indians wouldn't claim him either.

Him and his brother run the operation. Brother (Stephen) got all the common sense in the family.

The "all the way left" path is super rutted out as of our trip Dec 1. I think we are already past the point that a stock truck would need yanked up it, Chris barely made it. Granted it was sloppy as all get out too. I didn't have any issues because as we all know I'm fucking amazing (and have a few extra inches on presta, ask your madre). Going down it is all about straight down the rock face like you said.

You may want to plan your fall trip next year accordingly, I can only imagine what that spots gonna look like in another year

 

Everett's trailhead is the way to go imo. Camp on the mountain. F that weak ass campground
