A 3-4" lift on our trucks will probably wreck more shit than 35s lol

No doubt but more cutting with 35's lol. And you'd need the lift with a different front bumper to fit them. Could always make it IG fresh with a 3-4" lift with deep dishes and stretched tires .:frusty:

I hugely appreciate the different lines that 315s let me take that I couldn't with 255s on trails, but I also miss still getting 19mpgs lol.

I'm starting to really like the look of pizza cutters.

All things considered, I dont need 35's.

May even stay with the stock size on this 4runner and just get a more aggressive tire in general.

If you're never gonna wheel it just put nice street tires on it. You seem reasonable, get the best tool for the job you're doing

If the thinner 33s didn’t cost so much more than the 285s, I’d have gone with the pizza cutter look. But I just want the additional ride height without having to add to my lift. Going any higher than 2.5” seems like it will cause more trouble especially considering I finally got rid of the rear driveshaft vibrations with my custom one piece rear shaft. And now I’m terrified to touch the rear for fear the vibrations will return!

I can’t get sliders until my kids get older and big enough to climb in the truck without the assistance of a step. And I won’t be doing any serious rock crawling anyway. I’m all for a mild off road adventure but for the most part I just want to be able to drive the truck back into the woods to fishing spots and for some camping with the kids as they get older.

I have a 4 and 6 year old, they manage, or I pick them up. But I had different build ideas, too, and sliders before they came along.

I was being sarcastic about the IG comment FYI. Eventually I'm gonna level it out and do wheels. Probably get rid of the hideous chrome rear bumper ‍♂️. Thatll probably be it for the taco.

Same ages here. And I know I’m not technically old but one of the main reasons I bought a truck in the first place was so I didn’t have to pick kids up and put them into car seats. Well, my main concern was my back when I had to bend over to strap them into a lowered car...

What do y’all think of these?

I’m frustrated with my parking light bulbs dropping out of the sockets

Yes...that’s three bulbs in 5 minutes...2 drivers and 1 passengers
