That’ll definitely happen if needed on the upper hardlines. I’m not replacing those...

I also need to remove, clean, adjust and inspect the drums. Between the rear stainless lines and making sure the drums are adjusted (and don’t need to be replaced) I’m hoping to finally have my brake pedal feeling firm. The speed bleeders helped get the last of the air out so now it’s just a matter of finishing up the rear.

Have fun doing the rear drums. We just did that on @presta24 s truck and it was a huge pain in the ass

Like stated above. Last year, the first day was all about finding some new trails. Spent most of the first little segment riding around the gorge area looking for some trails we had heard/marked on some different locations that we hadn't never been too. They were fun, but took a little while and too much pavement to get to them off the DBBBBBBBBBBBB mapped course. Come out, stay a day, see how ya like it, come back next time. We're not going to poke fun of you too hard (unless we already know you) about keeping your truck at camp and not destroying it. If we know you're going to struggle to get on a trail we're going on, we'll tell you to consider it or go for it. If not, plenty of people to hop in a passenger seat with and ride the trail.

I’m hoping they don’t need to be replaced and can just be cleaned and adjusted. But yeah... lots of corrosion back there. So much corrosion...

On top of this, most of us are not worried about how big you or others think your balls are. We'll laugh, bust your balls, bust our own balls, and enjoy the days outside enjoying mother nature and company around the fire. It's way better than being at work and most people tend to come back, some with way more truck parts, others with more parts and less wives/girlfriends than what they had or started with the year before.

The real problem is going to be this annoying AF groove that can wear into one bit that makes it a royal pain in the ass to get everything taken apart the 'correct' way. In the case of Chris's truck, fortunately he was replacing all the stuff so some air tools came out to detach all the bits. @mwc273 or presta can tell you exactly whats going on- I didn't even have a solid grasp of how drum brakes work until we got them apart and I could see all the inside parts, let alone know what everything was called.

+1. It's a meet tradition that at least one day I'll leave my mall crawler parked at camp and ride with someone else to drink all day and take photos/spot. Or let @Breezy drive it. Ain't no shame in it. Just be able to laugh at yourself and others and you'll fit in and have fun.

For the record, I did recommend removing spare prior to wrenching at my place. :)

    Well...just got rear ended.
Any recommendations on a good Toyota experienced body shop. Gotta get the frame fixed before I can upgrade bumper.

Perfect excuse to order a steel bumper and have the insurance cover most of it now! Boom

The guy was driving a 10+ year old single cab F250. His bumper looked worse. Definitely helped my impact having my truck lifted.

Good lord... how fast was he going? On the plus side, it doesn’t look like anything other than the bumper (and frame) got damaged. It’s hard to tell from pictures but are the LEDs and tailgate ok?

Lights are fine. Tailgate is slightly out of alignment but opens.

Damn man, that sucks. Hopefully insurance gets you taken care of and you get the truck put back together with some upgrades!
