    I’m proactively trying to avoid the “previous thing broke/sucks” part of the build.

    It’s a general rule, there is always a weakest component. Something will break.

    Ha! I have to say, you all did confirm the build plan I had in mind. It’s nice to see guys running the some of same components and be happy with them.

    Was pointed in the direction of this thread today by a guy on the 3GT page on FB. Fairly new on this forum. Been driving Toyota’s for years. Most recently bought my ‘19 TRD OR. Most stock so far. Just recently did my lift.. billy 5100 with OME 888s and OME rear leaf packs and 5100 out back as well but soon to be replaced with a shock that’s designed for the amount of rear lift. Have sliders and a hidden winch mount on the way. I’m fairly mechanically inclined, as I am a diesel technician. Looking forward to maybe meeting some of y’all and learning new things.

    Get it figured out? All my stuff is on the way. If there is a good day for you I'd be interested in throwing things on the truck. Sounds like you have some space, but if it doesn't work out I have a garage to work in.

    Let me know if you're game. I'm not in a huge rush on my side. I've got a lot to do but I think a few dudes could get it knocked out while working on some other projects.

    I could do next weekend the 29th, ideally hosting but w/e is good too.
    GF is planning to do some brewing that I'll get called in to assist at some point.
    ->AC repair
    ->finish lights
    ->A-arm build

    Are all ready to go on my end, and thats the order I'd attack them in.

    I've got room for 1 truck to be worked on in the garage right now and could struggle to make it room for 2.

    Back yard has room for 4-5 trucks with access to power if the weather holds.

    You could bring your dogs if they are good with other dogs!

    I don't have mine anymore but just do it. You'll enjoy the softopper, fit and finish are excellent.
