    Stupid noob question, are the spacer lifts as terrible as people make them seem? I had one on my 04 Tundra and never had any issues.

    I think they would work on a Tundra because of the additional weight of the truck to still compress the coil spring.

    I started with a spacer...it made the ride really stiff with the stock springs cause the truck doesn’t have the weight to as easily compress the spring under the increased compression. Plus, you can bottom out the shock and break it because the shock takes the full impact force before the lower arm hits the bump stop when a spacer is used.
