So how many miles are you dudes on 33 MTs and spacers/offset wheels getting out of your wheel bearings?

I just changed mine a little over a year ago and just got an ABS light due to a sensor with grease all over it. Thinking my bearings are on the way out again. :annoyed:

I don’t have MT tires but I replaced my wheel bearings at about 90k miles. Since then, I’ve driven with 1” spacers and C rated 265/70/17 KO2s (~54 pounds each) for about 20k miles and now with 1.25” spacers and SL 285/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers (~59 pounds each) for about 13k miles. No noise or grease spewing from my bearings yet.

@09TRDSport4x4 What bearings did you install?

My 285/70r17 STT Pros are 62lbs per tire. I don't recall how much my sport wheels weigh, but I'm also on 1.25" spacers.

I don't drive the truck full time, and I probably only have about 5k on these bearings. I went with Beck/Arnley as they're usually quality. But it seems like they don't hold up.

So my passenger got 71k miles before changing, meaning my driver has ~85k on it.

@dirty deeds - are those Wheeling with mods miles?

I guess I should have gone with the guy from the form. I can't tell if it's humming... Thanks MTs...but it definitely has a little play in it.

No, I don't remember the mileage when I got the wheels/tires from Jibbs, but it's been wheeled to some extent since it had ~30k miles on it. Bought the truck with 24,500 on it.

Well... that was fun. Dropping the stupid spare tire was a huge pain in the ass but I made some progress today.

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
Where can I find good lower control arm bushings?
    I have a squeaker....

Anyone got any suggestions for what I can use to paint the back part of the exhaust? I’d like to make the axle back part of it black but I don’t know how hot it gets...

    You don't paint exhaust...

Don't drive it and it won't rust :stirthepot:

This. Don't even have to waste any paint, and it's actually useful
