I found the approach angle was limited by it.

I looked odd (standard procedure ) to my neighbors when I got mine. I was double snatched from the truck, to a tree, to the truck, back to the tree to suck down my line and pull the truck back up my driveway

 

I didn’t want to look like an idiot so I drove to an empty park and found an incline near a tree line that I winched to.

 

Don't put an extreme amount of faith, or heavy pulling, on those D-ring points. At least don't snatch strap off it.
All plate bumpers without the wrap brackets for the frame horns, flex like a mofo. You will certainly pull a bumper end up into a fender, no need to ask me how I know...
