I acquired @MJTH ’s CVT Roof Top Tent and I am finally ready to mount it on my bed cap…my inclination is to change the mount 90 degrees and have the hinge and ladder open over the truck tailgate rather than to the side.

If you have an opinion about that configuration please share. Good or bad and why.

I think the biggest issue would be dealing with the big drape of cover or whatever flops down when open.

 

It's pretty easy to roll up out of the way, or remove it

Ok, well, the time has come… the last 7 years have been great, but I no longer need a truck. Going to list this here first, just in case anyone local (or semi local) are, or know anyone, interested. I’m sure there is some stuff I’m forgetting but I’ll add/update this post if I remember. Truck doesn’t need anything urgently, but the front axle boots are both ripped. I’ve tried to keep them greased as best I can and they’re quiet but should eventually be replaced. Price is slightly above KBB private party but I felt fair with all the work and mods that went on in the last year (power steering rack, suspension and wheels). Picture sucks, I’m aware, but I’ll have to wash it and take some more. Let me know if you or anyone you know is interested and wants to see the truck in person.

 

Does this void the warranty?

 

I have personally been wrenching on this truck and can attest to the upkeep and maintenance. It’s a damn good truck!!

No. The tunes do not modify the OEM ID, which means it will report back as stock.

 

I can attest he tuned my Truck. Its a whole different truck! It made it I'd say around 80% better. To hit the 100% mark I think I'd need a regear.

Posting this here instead of BST because I don't feel like shipping. Doing a bit of garage cleaning and I have some unopened oil that I thought someone might be interested in.

5 quarts of Redline 75w85 gear oil.

$50 seem fair? That's half price.

Will include an open bottle that is about half full and an open bottle of Castrol Edge 0w20 that's got about 3.5 quarts left in it.

Will meet up somewhere Cincy local if anyone wants to purchase.
