Is anyone running aftermarket leaf hangers and shackles? I know BAMF and Archive Garage make them, but are there other companies I should be looking at along with them? Edit, cause rocks love dangly things.69BBFF54-3530-4A18-92D5-0F1364C821DE.jpg

Obligatory "Spring could happen anytime now!" comment.

Spring. V8s (2+ years and counting. Everett.) And a fella I don't know with a new found single life!

    DRT fabrication makes them too.

Edit: They’re listed as “coming soon”

    Update. I hate you.

Upon rotating my tires I noticed my driver's wheel bearing had play in it. So I spent some time unexpectedly replacing that today. At least I had the parts on hand, and at least I have done it enough times that I make pretty quick work of them. Think this is the 3rd time I've done a bearing replacement (6th if you count each side as 2x)

That’s seems like a really excessive amount of bearing failures.

I completely agree. The first 2 (really 4) I'm hoping we're due to using medium quality parts. I thought they were a good brand (beck arnley), but given the failure rate I'm not so sure.

I'm now rolling on the ones from the guy on here that presses them in. I've also replaced every axle seal and correctly torqued every bolt... So....we'll see how they last. Otherwise I might need lighter tires/wheels.

Soon indeed… working on final part fitment for welding and two test parts will be sent out and confirm they perform as intended prior to release

There's been more talk of wheeling in the last 3 pages than i've seen the last 2 years, 200 pages.

    Me Likey.

Must be the new OP putting in all this hard work.

Not even in my dreams could I imagine such a world.

Maybe if these fail then I'll have to pony up and buy oem hubs/bearings and invite someone more qualified than myself to watch me install them and see if I'm doing something wrong.
