Just want to point out the Tacoma made it through fine and the Jeep didn’t.

No pictures or videos of it being uprighted. We’re were all in solution mode at that point. We got it back on its wheels by sticking my wife in the Jeep, and the rest of us lifted it while she drove it forward and back onto it wheels. It was pretty quick and easy.

Here’s a short video from my GoPro. Its the initial CB call from my buddies son saying “We fell over” very calmly. And then me trying to confirm what I just heard because I honestly didn’t believe it. Then rescue mode kicking in...

Any you late 2nd gen/early 3rd gen fellers get the Toyota frame campaign notice? I know TN isn't on their list, but appears you can combat that a bit if it was bought out of state and was in a covered state for a period of time

I did and I’m tempted to do some serious investigation, especially if I’m going to keep this truck for another several years... I don’t necessarily want to deal with a potential frame replacement and all the waiting and Toyota BS that comes along with it but if I find any signs of holes in my frame (specifically up by the cats) I’m gonna take it in.

You have a 2009? It doesn't call out your year model specifically (2012-2017), might have missed that boat in the first round. Worth a shot though.

Mine would only get the coating applied.

I got the original letter a while ago... I’m covered until 12 years from the in service date. So I have some time, which is why I haven’t done any serious digging under the truck. There’s obviously some surface rust on a lot of the frame but after reading some other posts about people tapping the area up by the cats (where it tends to rust from the inside out) I’m going to do some more in depth checking one of these days. Just to be sure.

At least, I assume “the latter of...” means I’m covered until 3/22/2021 unless I’m reading this wrong.

Actually Yes. We lifted it about 10 degrees to put the tires back on the wall of the trail. My wife started it, turned the wheel to the left and let out the clutch and boom it was on its wheels. The thing didn't even smoke from the oil running to places it usually shouldn't when an engine is on its side.

My 3RZ didn't mind going full floperator either. Left the motor running the whole time and it had good oil pressure.
