There may be extra wood but I’m not sure yet. I’m using the post to replace my old porch posts.
I’ll need someone good with electric when my new building is up. It has to “pass inspection” for Owen electric to hook the wires back up to the pole

Now I just need to trim that new center pin, paint a few areas with the Rust Reformer, install the new U bolts and new shocks and I’ll be done with one side. Damn, I’m slow...

Finally done with the rear suspension. Just need to torque the struts and U bolts once the truck is back on the ground.

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
I’m having problems with getting my windows to roll up or down. It’s been going on for awhile. When it first started I could open the drivers door and they would start working. That isn’t fixing it anymore. Has anyone else dealt with this?

I pushed the door lock button and they work now. Maybe I can get a couple more years out of them.

That’s an odd one. Makes me think your switch panel has a short or is failing. I haven’t had issues with my windows but I have noticed the door lock on the driver’s door doesn’t move. The door locks and unlocks just fine and thankfully it opens but the little red/black thing stays in the same place.

I’m going to Haspin Acres this Thursday to chase a couple of SXS’s around.

I had a driver door window switch failure. Bought a replacement on eBay and that fixed it.

Pull the door panels and take a peek at the switches and connections.
Troubleshooting step; try to use the passenger switch to roll up that window, if it does better than driver side, then that is likely your culprit.

When it’s acting up none of the window switches work.

That’s what makes me think it’s the driver’s side door panel switches (or connection). Since none of the other windows will work when the window lock button is depressed the panel could have a loose wire or short causing all the windows to not work.

That’s what I’ve been thinking also. I took it apart and cleaned the contract’s with electrical cleaner and it worked good for awhile. I’m going to order a new switch and see what happens.

Does anyone know if a little water in the front speed sensor hole in the knuckle may hurt anything? I forgot I had a foobar speed sensor so I cut the wing off an extra left one I had an stuck it in the right side until I could get an OEM one. Forgetful me drove up and down a creek. I just pulled the sensor and there's a little moisture on it now. Brand new bearing in there that I don't really want to mess up.
