So what time do you guys generally hit the trails on Saturday morning? I wanna show up before the fun begins.

 

I will show up Saturday morning around 9ish, setup my site and lighten the taco ...I expect to find people at the camp still ...if not most have a CB or phone ...

I corrected the days we'll be there. We're camping Friday and Saturday night.
Have we decided on who's booking the sites?
We should also pick a preliminary CB channel channel to monitor incase anyone needs help getting linked up with the group.

nothing yet. i don't think we have even nailed down a campsite yet? we all may be camping on the side of a trail at this point..lol

 

Thinking we may just do a hotel room again ...

 

Can I just call up there and book a site for myself? And who ever wants to can share a site with me and split the cost

just updating my status on this meet, I am still unsure if I am able to make it, as its getting closer, I have a feeling im not going to get leave for it, BUT the Jan meet is looking like I will be able to attend the entire meet, Ill see what I can do on this Nov meet, I really want to go, gonna get me some new wheels first and see what happens

BTW, with the talk of CBs, if anyone needs one, I have a Cobra 25 LTD Classic I'd be willing to part with. It's an older model--1990 and has the mic jack on the side instead of the front like the new ones do--but it's been peaked and tuned. The in-line fuse holder is toast and it doesn't have a mounting bracket. I'd let it go for $50 or so if someone wants it.

The fuse holder is an easy fix. Just get one from the auto parts store and splice it in...easy-peasy. Rightchannelradios.com has the mounting brackets for ~$10.

 

I will text mike today and see what if anything he found out about the camp sites. I'm thinking he may not have done anything because so many people were talking about wanting to try that holder campsite. Personally I say we just plan for that, but that's up to everyone to decide. That's my vote since we are just over a month away.
