Not a whole bunch, probably about 1/2 pea size bead. I used clear but color doesn't matter as it's not visible from the front side. I believe they recommend using JB kwik but wasn't too fond of the brittleness of JB.

Don't mind my dirty ass stove.

I applied the silicone to the shroud on the outer lip of the opening. Installed and taped the LED ring in place. Then once that was cured I applied silicone to the inside of edge of the shroud 'opening'.

I like this better than the glaring rings BMW and Audi have.

All buttoned up this morning. Just need to tap the halos into the DTRL when I get to the store for some taps.

I agree although I think it looks good on those vehicles. I briefly thought about putting them on the front of the shrouds but its too over the top for me and everything else on the truck.

i like it behind because it puts the light off the reflector better. if the bowl was painted, then put it on the front. bowl not painted, put it in the back

Engine oil, rear diff, and T-case fluids changed at 29,033 miles. Went with Mobil-1 for everything and OEM oil filter.

Have to do the front diff when I have a bit more time so I can pull the skid to get to it.

No new stuff for the truck this weekend but drove it all over Virginia. Went to DC for Independence Day then to the mountains for an overnight hike to McAfee Knob.

Lost track many, many mods ago.
Very cool pics. Love the look of your truck. If I ever get a 2nd gen, I might have to copy a lot of your mods.

Switches installed but the rain and mosquitoes are killing the wiring.
