out, as in the inner tie rod is threaded all of the way into the outer? temporary solution until you can figure out what's actually wrong, is to cut a little off the end of the inner tie rod, so you can thread it further. not sure if they are heat treated though, so to be safe, cut it with a saw, not a grinder.

When I had my DB Taco we had to trim the tie rods to get it to align.

Chopped .4". Much better, eyeball says it's close and it should be close enough for a road trip.

Also, alignment at Firestone confirmed my hunch of 1* caster gained with these LCA.

I'm guessing you didn't remove any other leaf in your dakars beside the D29 with your new shackle flip setup due to weight in the rear? I was thinking of removing my overload to retain my current height. I will be adding a RTT and bed rack along with my rear bumper.

Hey noticed you were having an alignment issue. Is your guy plugging into your OBD connector and reflashing your steering? My guy didn't used to, but when I got one on my way out to Moab the guy at big O Tire told me our trucks need it. Since I got back I have my guy not skip that step anymore and my wheel being off isn't an issue anymore. Well sometimes because my LCAs are effed up, but once that is fixed I don't anticipate an issue.

Before that I had the same problem with the TRE being maxed out, but the wheel need more thread.

I didn't reset the computer but guess I should've. I trimmed the TRE  since I needed to go on a road trip that night.

Did you put limit straps on your new LCAs and how about bump spacers?

Just wondering what made you decide to do the hoops on the bumper. I've been thinking of a similar setup but was first interested in something like what @DefconBrix did without the hoops. Was it purely for looks or do you find that its actually pretty useful for keeping branches and stuff off the grill and headlights?

Also, do you still use your camper shell? I feel like you and Defcon have 2 very capable setups but seem to be completely opposite when you compare the all-in-one setup you have and the bed storage, shell and trailer setup Defcon went with.

Haven't strapped it yet but it's in my to do list. Yes, I used the included bump spacers.
I like the extra protection they give and the hoops also act as point of reference for the front corners of the truck when maneuvering in tight spots.

I sold the shell right before I got the bed rack. I knew I wouldn't want to swap between the two, so I got rid of it.

Hoops are super useful. I've wanted to add them to my bumper for 4 years now lol.

It would be nice to not worry about hitting a headlight on a tree on a tight trail.
