    Here's a good example of the point of reference for the front corner. Wheeled this weekend on trails that required multi-point turns to clear a 5-10yd section of trail, TIGHT.

    Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
    The computer reset is just a VSC calibration. It has everything to do with zeroing out the pitch/roll/yaw sensor that is located under the center console.

    If it's not right then your VSC will kick on a weird times like when you're coming down off a mountain and damn near cause you to wreck like Chris saw mine doing coming down off Potts Mountain early this year. It's scary when it happens.

    Other than that it has nothing to do with the actual alignment and can be done with a wire on the OBD port. I have never had the dealer do it and it works great with the wire as long as you have a perfectly flat ground to park on. I have the procedure from the tech manual if anyone needs it.

    Got denied going up this, long wheelbase isn't an advantage a lot of times.

    You like the dakars? Just wanting to buy once cry once type deal. I'm going to 35's the first go around so making sure I get good parts to work with the 35's and 12" shocks.

    Thanks for the picture, that is proof enough for me that I want to go with hoops if I end up wheeling this rig. I always ran steel fenders and bumpers on TJs and there wasn't any exposed soft parts (like lights). The strategy I always took was that if I was going to hit it I'll feel it and likely pivot around it.

    You can't go wrong with either option.
    Have you pulled a couple of the leaf clamps? That'll free up about 3" of droop.
