    Lol I'm the same way almost. I'll cut and drill anywhere else on the truck but won't do it to the interior plastic.

    I have found one of the best places for the cb mic is the coin tray. I made a quick mounted clip with a washer, mic clip, and 3 nuts and bolts, only needing one hole to be drilled. This would be a good option for you cuz if you decide to change it and the one hole bothers you then you could grab a new coin tray from the stealership.

    ^I saw that in your thread and considered it. Only thing is I don't like anything in the footwell in the event of a front end collision. MCL injury is something I don't want to deal with it.
