1980 Subaru Brat from California. Still have the CA plates and title! Bought this car and had it shipped at the end of this winter from northern Cali. Runs and drives EXCELLENT, probably as good or better than most 20 years newer. Everything works other than the AC. 4 Speed manual with selectable 4wd so it gets 27mpg in town in 2wd! 4wd works perfect. Its front wheel drive until you engage the rear. New tires, heads have been reconditioned by previous owner as well as the clutch replaced. Disc brakes. Runs, drives, starts and stops amazing for it's age, a lot of fun to drive. The highly sought after jump seats in the back, had seat belts but I didn't get any with it. Body has some dents and dings but being a CA car its SOLID! Undercarriage is amazing, no rot anywhere. Doors, tailgate all shut incredible, just a sound little pickup. Mostly original paint I would guess. Odometer shows 33k but Im guessing it's 133k. Seats have been recovered, carpet looks original. CD player is the only modern convenience. $5000, serious buyers only. Located in 12057 NY about an hour east of Albany. 518-281-6058. Thanks.
