Not sure if anyone watches Motortrend's Dirt Every Day program, but this weeks was about the host, Fred's, 1986 Pickup. It was given to him for free when he didn't have a truck, and the fun just started there. Def. worth a watch if you're a Toyota fan, which I'm sure you are ;)

Dig in already. There's no excuse

    Dig in

    Hey
    Dig. In.

I love those older pickups. For this reason...you can just beat them and they don't die. And who cares if it gets beat up. Trail damage looks good.

I really miss my old pickup. So easy to drive too. Manual tranny on those was balls easy. Smooth as heck, and easy clutch.

When I'm out of high school I'll have $3,600 to save up for trucking school, and after that I'm hoping to get a 3rd generation tacoma RC 4x4 when they come out with it in a few years. In a perfect world I'd love to turn my t100 into a woods truck. Oh I can already imagine it now

    So Cal
Fred is the man! I've had the opportunity to work on a few projects with him.

After having 2 newer Tacomas, I've now gone old school with a '78 Land Cruiser and '85 4Runner with crawler gears and I'm liking the change!
