Hello Battle, if I understand your question...stock tire on my new Tacoma from assembly was a Firestone Destination 245/75R16. It was not an LT tire. I believe according to the TW Tire Calculator it puts that tire at 30.4 or 30.6 inches. I went up to a Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 265/75R16, at 31.8 inches.
I chose that tire due in large part to 2 years experience in service on my Jeep TJ (same tire but 33X12.5X15 on the Jeep with a 3.25 RC lift). Also due to comments on this thread and others for Tacoma's who had successfully put 265/75R16s on their stock Tacoma's with no issues.
The Jeep was my daily driver until I got the new truck. Highways, trail riding, snow, the Jeep 33s have been outstanding.
To be fair I have never spent the money on KO2s or some of the other high end tires out there (Mickey Thompson for instance). I'm not that dedicated a wheeler and I don't rock climb.
I strongly recommend anyone with questions go to FalkenTire.com and look up the wealth of info they provide. Too much to list here but, in all that reading I did not see a mention for the 265/75R16 weight. So I have sent them a message asking for it. When I get that response I'll post it here. Hope that helps.
Also, would I do it again? Hell yeah! I think these tires look great on my truck.

Ps. This Falken Wildpeak is the OE tire on the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. Didn't know that 'till I read their site this evening.

I think that's referred to as "stuffing" the wheel well and no, I haven't tried that yet.

Thanks so much MDS...I take all free advice! I don't know what a KDMAX is but it'll be on my short list now.

Thanks for the detailed reply. Good info. I looked the Falken Wildpeak up on Discount tires. 265/75/16 is just 44 pounds. 10 pounds lighter than the K02 in the same size and just 7 pounds heavier then the stock tires on the Offroad model. I will have to check them out!

Honestly I am looking at the K02s mainly due to reputation, but the weight is concerning me. I offroad maybe once every 2 months on easy to moderate trails. My goal with my Tacoma is to overbuild it for those types of trails so that I have some insurance built in if I underestimate a trail. The K02s might be overkill.

    Super helpful response, appreciate it.

2019 SR5, just switched out the stock Firestone Destination 245/75R16 tires for General Grabber ATX LT265/75/16 tires, E load. no rubbing, no cutting needed and no noticeable difference in driving/handling.

Exactly correct Battle, their exact weight is 43.9lbs according to Falken and that's the lighter non-LT tire. Falken replied to my email this afternoon.
Which I believe is appropriate (the non LT tire) for our Tacoma's. The LTs are for the full size trucks. I've read that on several threads here. Glad I could be helpful. I'm learning an awful lot of good info from y'all. Great to return the favor. Happy tire shopping!

No serious off-roading for my Taco (that's what the YZ is for), but I like this LT tire and still get 19 MPG hauling the bike(s) around.

Great looking truck Moes! Obviously well planned choices. The stance is perfect and a great looking tire setup. Love that color!

Beauty! I have the TRD Lift with the same Wheels and Mudflaps on. My tires are en route... are you having any rubbing anywhere at full lock?

No rubbing at all at full lock. You should have no problem with the mudflaps on. Be sure to show us your ride when you get them new shoes put on...

Wife's 2019 (Manual) came from the showroom with 265/70/16 BFG KO2 and we upgraded to 265/75/16 KO2 last September. If there was any performance hit, it wasn't noticeable. Funnily enough, her "range" hasn't really changed after every fillup, even though the truck is actually travelling 3.3% further. So I'm thinking that since she spends most of her time on the highway, we might have improved her fuel consumption a smidgen by making the effective gearing taller in 6th. (Final drive ratio goes to 2.95 from 3.06)

For myself, I had a new set of bad-year 265/70 R16's AT'S already bought for my gen1 tundra before I sold the truck. Rather than give them with the truck, I swapped them on my tacoma, and sold the stock 245/75 16 all weather firestones. Those bad-year tires were just a bit wider than the stock tacoma ones. They didn't seem to affect performance, and fuel economy either.
