Clay Bar, cleaner wax, and polish + painted fenders

Hi Guys,
Finally got around to Detailing the truck, As I said in a previous post I had received a Meguiars Clay Bar kit for Christmas and Today was warm enough to wash, What I didn't expect was all of the crap on the paint of a new vehicle,Now the surface is SMOOTH as glass and very shiny
I preformed a very soapy, detailed wash, Clayed, according to directions applied 2 coats of Meguiars NXT! This is the result...Glad I found this thread!

update: The fender flares are holding up great with plenty or rain, snow and salt

 

Either your truck was not bad to start with or your extremely fast... For me to Clay Bar, Light Buff and Wax a truck it takes me every bit of 2-2.5 hours

Do you need a job?

 

ive been detailing my own stuff for a long long time, maybe my understanding of time goes out the window when i do it, that must be why my wife is always mad when i go in the garage

So when you use the clay bar do you want to do one section then wipe off then do another like you would do when waxing?
