Bird shit and rock chips on your vehicle are like death and taxes for us working people.....
Hope you get that blemish on the clear taken care of. Usually difficult if it has that melted haze. I've tried in the past on many cars.

For birdshit, as mentioned, has to come off quick. The best way I've found is to soak it with quick detailer so that it is runny and then then blot it off - don't wipe or the grains will scratch the clear.

So, soak it with either quick detailer or water, allow to penetrate and blot off asap. As mentioned, after 2 weeks, it'll take some work to remove and may leave an outline of the stain even still.

    Good luck.

Are you talking about one of those 20 dollar autozone buffers? Those don't actually do anything but spread wax. A proper dual action buffer like a porter cable, or even a 50 dollar harbor freight one coupled with a yellow pad or microfiber pad + polish will clear that up right away.

I use a porter cable for car detailing. You can't really burn your paint with it unless you're reckless and don't read the instructions before hand. But it works great for waxing and buffing. Much less time than using elbow grease.

Based on the location, I'd just leave it alone. I park under trees all the time though. :notsure: Now if it was on the hood where you might actually see it all the time, maybe that's worth the effort.

If you have a porter cable, you should easily be able to remove bird crap etching with the proper pads and cutting compound.
