I think it's kind of neat but I could see some dipstick giving you a hard time or calling the cops if they saw it. We, as a nation, are quickly losing our sense of humor and everything you do offends someone and all it takes is some loud mouth to call the right person and, even though you've done nothing wrong, it could still be an inconvenience.

my job is wound-tight on stuff like this, so I have a skewed perspective
of zero tolerance for anything of that sort of 3 dimensional decoration

I am thinking 'in my up-tight environment' we have lots of
interesting security software we develop so there are a ton of
visitors from who-knows-where ...so this claymore miniature would not go
over well where I work, and actually the towns directly around me

The obviousness of the piece, though to an untrained eye may appear real, doesn't lend itself to something or someone that wish to blow shit up...

Most of the terrorist attacks that occur, no one knows that shit is gonna happen!!! The bombs are hidden, the suicide bomb vests are hidden, secondary devices are hidden, etc.

There is a civilian worker on base that has a motorcycle decked out with toy guns, grenades and old land mines that can't bring on base but will ride all over. I wish I a had pic to put up.
