I'm glad that you were able to figure that out! It's pretty intuitive once you get the covers. But in case anyone has a similar question, the answer is: no, you do not need to remove the armrest in order to install the armrest cover on the 3rd Gen Tacoma.

I am torn on Nappa vs regular leather, can anyone confirm that on the Nappa one the whole top of it is leather and not just the insert?

 

Our Nappa covers do in fact have leather on the entire face of the seat whereas our standard leather covers have leather in the middle of the seat (insert) only.

Here’s my install. I went PVC. Got a deal on Realtruck for $320.

overall install went fine. Only unbolted the passenger seat to get better access underneath. I didn’t mess with the driver side as I got the jist from the passenger side.

never really figured out how the front seats Velcro together but I basically reassembled back to oem with the clips.

the rear back rests I can not get them to meet via velcro. The headrests I can’t get to Clip together. I’ll leave it as is for now and maybe it will stretch a bit in time for me to tighten things up. Overall happy. Took about half a day and I took my time.

@Clazzio - Just bought a 2022 Tacoma SR5 with the cement interior. My wife and I are ready to buy the Clazzio seat covers, and want the napp or full face leather. (with the body, insert and stich dark gray). Is this something that has the option to be made in the USA ? And if so, how much more is it, and how do I request or order them that way ? Thanks !

Who lives where it’s really hot and has clazzios? How hot are they? Looking at the leather which is perforated so that should help them not be too hot? I really think black would look better, but imagine the dark grey (which looks more like a light-medium grey from pics I’ve seen here) wouldn’t be as hot?

@Clazzio If I later wanted to order custom embroidered head rest covers, could I do that? Looking at ordering seat covers you have in stock right now, but love some of these custom head rests I’ve seen posted on here.

Can i install the pad on the stock seat cloth first.. then put the cover over?
Or should the pad be installed onto the cover?
