They just go over the trays. Hardest part will be middle seatbelt top trim piece. It takes time and use the tool but it will go over it. They look great don't they.

Haven't had a chance to install mine yet, but I really want to! Mini-heat wave rolling through MA.. Was like 95 today. Might've been the perfect weather to do so, to let the leather warm up and stretch easier... but seeing as how I'm a night owl and have been working nights for the past 15+ years... I don't particularly get along very well with that big ugly yellow glowy death ball in the sky. :p I didn't particularly feel like melting. On vacation week after this though.. so only 5 more days and I can get them installed!

Any tips that I should know of before I do install em? I've read a ton of the pages of the thread, but not all 119.

Warming them up will make it easier. I did the headrest while I was just relaxing watching tv to get them done. Front seats I unbolted and tilted them back to do underside. Much easier. Second set of hands come in handy doing Velcro on seat backs but I did it alone. Plan on a good afternoon or evening. I did it in about 5hrs. Take your time to get them right. Packing creases will show but they will go away with time. You don't have too but I re-tightened after a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the info. Where the storage box is behind the left rear seat back I couldn't pull the cover by it and then I removed the storage box and it still seemed way too tight. I try again tomorrow afternoon.
I'm impressed with the whole kit except for the center console cover.
I would have liked better instructions but YouTube was there LOL

They look and feel a lot better than the front seats with 155k miles on them. They are awesome!!!

Did you turn it halfway inside out first. Mine is a 3rd gen but should be the same.

Man that looks great. Thanks for posting the pictures. I guess I'm being too careful. Watched a Ytube video of a guy from Clazzio installing the right side on a Tacoma. I'll get the backseat done this afternoon.

20tacoma17, thanks for your pics, but now I have 2 questions for you. Does the 480Q mod interfere at all with the Clazzio covers? I just got a 16 Taco and am thinking about doing both mods. I don't want to make either of them harder to do and may want to do both at the same time since the seat will be unbolted for the 480Q mod. I am not entirely sold on the stereo mod for that price so if you can chime in on this one you may sway my decision. Sold on the seats but for a new truck (for me) I am still doing a lot of listening to the drivetrain! A BIG lover of audiophile stereo though!

Oh, and can you send a pic of those headrests? That is pretty much what I have settled on for the Clazzio's. PM me and I will give you my email.

I am a stereo nut. I have put systems in everything. My 98 Ranger has a $7k system. I like clean, clear, realistic reproduction music. My ranger can thump if I want it too...if you want to thump, the 450 is not for you but it does have great bass. I'm very impressed with the 450 and with the install taking hours instead of weeks makes it worth the money for me. I did the clazzio's first. Just have to undo the Velcro bottom to unbolt the seat. The clazzio's will not interfere with the sub.
This is just part of my ranger system.

Holy Smokes! No, I am not a thump nut, more of an audiophile. Just wondering if the extra 1.5K is worth it do add to the factory stereo. Right now I think the original is not horrible but have had much better audio in the past. Like I said, tuned in to the truck right now and trying to get the drivetrain (driveshaft issue) and transmission issue under control before I start blasting the stereo. Had the tranny flashed, a-arms plugged and waiting for the leaf springs to be installed to get rid of the vibration. Then I might be able to enjoy the stereo! Still listening to rear diff at highway speed to see if that is an issue too!
I want to order Clazzio covers and like your headrests. I have MMG paint and I think that would match great.
Sorry to hijack the thread but thought others would like to know if the Clazzio's interfered with the 480Q mod.

If you think the stock is "not horrible" you will love the 450. If you have heard the stock jbl system, it will put it to shame. I also PM'ed you.

Got one installed. This is the second set of clazzio covers I've had and again, couldn't be happier.

I had diamond stitched bellezza covers in my last car and I will definitely look into another set of those or clazzio covers for the truck.

Helpful tip: lettting the covers warm up in direct sunlight for an hour or two will help them stretch and flex a little to make the install easier.

It's the OEM AUDIO Reference 450Q stereo upgrade.

As I posted earlier, that middle seatbelt top trim piece gave me fits. I couldn't tuck the material under the clip without having the clip pop off constantly. I spent HOURS (yes, hours) working on that clip. It was my last hole tuck to complete the install. Very frustrating. I was sure that my top piece for the seat was not right - Clazzio (Tyler) had to talk me off the ledge a couple of times.

I found that one clip tab was depressed/deformed slightly compared to the other one. The tabs are hard plastic, so it would be very difficult to bend or deform without actually breaking the tab, so I don't think I did it while working on the seat cover. It had to have come from the factory like that. Thanks Toyota.

I ordered a new OEM clip from Toyota, checked the new clip and made sure all tabs were uniform and boom! I had the material tucked under within minutes and the new clip actually stayed clipped on like it's suppose to. Imagine that.

Needless to say the seat covers look very nice and the whole fam is impressed with the new look.
