The PRO kit we have a few more available right now that we've pre ordered. Should be here in the next few weeks.

The all black with red stitching, does have more red stitching but not.. an insane amount.. The pro kit, we leave the body/headrest SINGLE stitch.. black.

I just installed the fronts in my truck last night. Had a 30 degree morning here in CO and used the seat heaters on full blast on the way in, trying to stretch out the covers/remove wrinkles. Takes another minute to warm up, but heaters work totally fine. I think the seat heaters have so much power on the II/III setting that unless you want to melt your back off, you will still get all the seat heater performance you need with the covers on.

Finished the install this weekend. They look incredible. Thanks to the guys at Clazzio for the heads up that pricing was going up, I bought several months back and got the leather kit for $423 shipped. Couple wrinkles that I'm sure will work themselves out over the next few months. Been running the seat heaters on hot to give them a little stretch, then I'll re-tighten. They had a few "grease" smudges like everyone mentions (some sort of production oil), but it came off easily with Chemical Guys leather cleaner.

My one observation is that the vinyl section, on the outside of the leather inserts, feels "softer" and more PVC like than I'm used to. Does this harden up a bit over time, or does it maintain that level of softness/stretch?

One thing to note, when I opened the packaging I didn't realize the tiny metal clips that help attach the strings together. They fell on the floor and I wasn't paying attention, and they're not referenced in the installation instructions. I had a hell of a time tying the strings like shoelaces and maintaining tension, but now that I know those are there when I go to re-tighten everything in a month or so I'll use those and zip tie the hooks together and it should be rock solid.Realized that's what people were doing when I read back in previous pages of this 150 page thread.

Those clips are important.. not sure how you re attached the new flap under the seat? Maybe this will help:

    DRIVER SIDE/PASSENGER SIDE SEATBACK INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 in the instructions explains this. But here is a more detailed break down.

    1. Un hook the FACTORY flap, on the original seat that goes from the seat back, under the back bottom of the seat, and under the seat bottom. Most vehicles, there is a simple plastic snap. You just push it off the metal wire and the straps will be free and clear.

    LnKJAG6GpMM3PiHTbZEMkDCZnzrXcypfNAj0ZtDD_2344c7143a173b8728bc4d737529ccf3a3b32693.jpg

    2. Fold the factory flap back, up towards the seat back.

    3. Hold the flap in place against the seat back/pocket as you pull the NEW clazzio cover down over the top of the seat, and over the flap you're holding in place. Once the cover goes over, it will keep it there, on the seat back. (Seat covers are designed to keep your original factory material intact. You could cut off the bottom of the flap, and not have it behind the cover, but that is your choice. Keeping the flap, behind the cover keeps your original seats in tact, and this is how we install.)

    mIh2PAzVFWLObbkgJEIj3xxtgKjIX51NKNtNG1lH_80e9e7b40288be5b652d8f9452b771935a886de8.jpg

    4. Push the BOTTOM front edge of the seat cover from the FRONT side of the seat, through the bottom crack. Sit in the back of your vehicle, and pull that flap through towards yourself. Then you can pull it UP and connect it to the velcro that is located INSIDE the seat cover, at the TOP of where the new FLAP is sewn on. (It REALLY helps to have someone lean over the seat back, and push DOWN on the cover, while someone pulls UP on the flap, making that connection SUPER tight. The PVC has really good stretch when you have 2 people on it, and you’ll be amazed at how tight you can get it!

At this point, DO NOT install the NEW FLAP on the seat back. We like to install the SEAT BOTTOM NEXT because you need that part DONE before you finish installing the seat back flap. 2cNafP_pgTYrNUX2WjM1WgU4NQZoPfCmBsVT8bN7_7ba92c3e85990f0bed2927727a53a8d03a8e1535.jpg

    5. Install the seat bottom. If you have a STRING, the INSIDE part by the console the string will just go down by the seat belt connector and to the back. The DRIVER SIDE, you’ll push the string BETWEEN the seat cushion, and the plastic on the edge of your seat bottom. (SOMETIMES, depending on how tight it is, you can TAPE the end of your shoe string to the tip of a screwdriver and poke it down the hole, then you can grab it easier on the back side to tie it off. Go to the back of the seat to tie off the string. ON ONE side, make a simple loop in the string. The other side of the sting, pull through the loop, and PULL to make the cover as tight as possible. Then TIE off the string. Tuck any excess string up under the seat bottom in the wire frame. YOU DON’T want to cut it off, so in the future you can always go back and retighten the covers. You’ll also install the straps from FRONT TO BACK if your cover has them.

(A TIP HERE!!! Make SURE the strings don’t come around right in the SLIDE TRACK for the seat. The metal is sharp and you can cut the string by pulling right across the track. We like to make sure the strings go ABOVE the track, ON the TOP of the seat slide, so as the seat moves front and back, the strings are tied to that part.)

    6. Now that the BOTTOM is done, then hook the NEW clazzio flap on the seat back to the underframe, the same way the original flap was, using the S HOOKS, to hook to the new bungees. Do NOT do them tight.. they are designed to be loose.. so that when your seat folds front and back, the flap can move.

Thank you! I thought the metal clips were for the string, not the bungees. Makes sense on how to attach the string now, I really didn't get it but makes total sense now.

After nearly 2 years of daily use you cannot tell any of the covers are not leather. Compared to some crappy CoverKings for the same price these covers are fantastic. If you want all leather spend an extra $300-$500. Then spend a weekend removing your seats, your seat skins and installing the all leather skins and install the seats into the truck. Or pay someone hundreds in labor to do it. Clazzios are a bargain and the best "covers" you can buy.

I agree the covers are fantastic and the price is right. I do find the vinyl siding "squeaks" a little bit and doesn't slide like the leather when I get in and out and fidget around. That said I think once they wear, and stretch out a bit, I'll agree with your assessment that you nobody getting in the car would think it was anything other than factory leather.

One other question, for the folks that have them - do the seams on the seat bottom get packed down and become less noticeable over time? I'm talking about the ones that run across the entire seat bottom, there are two or three of them.

I'm close on the fence with these Clazzio seat covers. I'd really like a dark brown "hickory" color like what is offered in the limited models. Any chance Clazzio or the TW rep does a Black Friday deal? I think I need to order a swatch to confirm the color is what I'm expecting.

As another follow-up point, many (most?) vehicles with factory leather seats are only actually leather on the seating surface that makes contact with your body. The sides and back are typically vinyl with most factory leather in the cars I've driven.

I've had my clazzios installed for 6 months and they look the same as the day I put them in. The only thing I did since install was re-tighten the front seat straps after about a month. Mud and any other types of spills have just wiped off with a wet paper towel. My single complaint is that I can't get the rear center passenger seatbelt cover to lock in place with the clazzios, but it typically just sits in place since I never have more than 2 passengers in the back anyway.
