Got my Clazzio leather seat covers on this week. The guys at Clazzio did a great job! The custom "TRD" logos on the headrests are beautiful. They even made us a tribute to our 24 year old son who took his own life back in June of this year. I couldn't be happier! Black on black with gray stitching. Here they are:DSC_0513.jpg DSC_0501.jpg DSC_0507.jpg DSC_0508.jpg DSC_0503.jpgDSC_0499.jpg

@Quanter55 - covers look great! I'm trying to get mine finished today.

You wouldn't happen to remember the size of the bolt in the back seat that needs to be removed would you? I may have to go buy the right size, I didn't find anything that fit in my limited bag of tools.

Yes, I believe it was 14mm.

    Confirmed by @BastekFX here

Thanks to both of you for responding. Time for a trip to Home Depot for a 14mm socket!

Finally finished'em off today. Thanks to all who posted their tips and tricks, it was helpful being able to refer back to this thread for support.

For me, it seemed the passenger side was easier (maybe because I'm right-handed?) and the back seats (when you have the right-sized socket) were far easier than the fronts. I also had a bitch of a time getting the inner elastic backrest on the passenger side secured underneath the seat because I have an amp under that seat and had a difficult time getting my hand up in there.

I'm sure I'm going to have to tweak a few things like the center console, because it won't open all the way yet. And, that damn seat belt clip on the back. I took it off and tried to do it that way and there's no way in hell I'm taking that cover off. I may work it through the hole and under to see if I can snap it on then use the tool to work it around.

    My tips:
    0) If you read nothing else in the manufacturer's instructions, look at the picture on the front and notice that specific covers go on specific seats!

    1) As a couple of others have already stated, you can take the headrests in the house if you want to work on something but it's too dark (or too hot) outside to do anything else. Hold'em between your knees and don't be afraid to squeeze the cushions to get the covers over the headrests.

    2) Also for headrest, if you have someone to assist you while you're securing the i-hook into the j-hook, have them pry an end of the j-hook apart with a key. It makes it easier to get the i-hook started with the vinyl tucked under. After that, it's a matter of just pushing/working it down the rest of the j-hook.

    3) Read through the posts in this thread and make notes if needed (including a post number so you can find the information again).

    4) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7-OQ8WoWws&t=3s - this video will give you an idea how to tie-off (the Clazzio knot) the strings under the seats. Kudo's to @Clazzio for providing it!

    5) I found that using both thumbs to get the cover holes started over one side of the headrest "holders" and working around toward the other side worked best. I only used the tool a couple of times and mainly to smooth it out.

    6) For the front seat bottom straps, make sure you route the straps over/above the seat adjustment handle and be careful of any wires you may have under the seat (safety features and/or amplifiers).

For those of you who have the stitching/logo on the headrest, how do I go about selecting a design? Do they have any designs to pick from, because I can’t seem to find them on the website? I think I’m going all black with TRD or TRD Off Road in Red stitching, if I can figure out how to do it, or maybe black with the dark grey insert and red stitching.

You can send'em a picture of what you want. PM @Clazzio, he can help ya out or hit'em up on their "contact us" page on clazzio.com.

Edit - I think there was a place during the order process that allowed you to upload artwork.

Thanks bud. I did see that upload option, I was just wondering if maybe they had some examples of TRD designs on seat covers already on the site, I’m not real good at picturing what it will look like, and don’t want to cheese it up. :)

Got my seat covers in and installed. I don't think they are as hard as everyone says though. It is 40 degrees out and went on without any issues. Also as far as the sore fingers I don't think they are that bad either. The first set took a little longer then the others. I wanted to read and make sure I wasn't missing something, but really not to difficult especially if you have put on seat covers before. I thought the directions might be missing a step or two but nothing is really that complicated for this. Glad I finally bit the bullet and ordered a set. Anyways here is a picture on them installed.

Nice. Like the colors! We have an Acura TLX with Espresso colored seats and love'em.

How often does @Clazzio get on here? I had a couple of questions for him. He’s the owner of clazzio.com website, right? So if I contact them on the website, will I be dealing with him anyway?

You can also contact them on their contact us page on the Clazzio web site. They respond pretty quickly.

Well I ordered mine this afternoon. Thanks @Clazzio for working with me, and thank your little buddy who answered the phone and waited on me.

Also thanks to @BlazingInfernoTaco for sending me a bunch of sample pics to help me pick a headrest design.

I debated on getting the dark grey insert, but the all black ones look to damn good for me to pass up. I ended up ordering these exact ones:

    1C0E5EC2-307E-4857-8C5C-0E88E841515E.jpg

I love the red TRD with the white shadow. I like the White TRD with red shadow too, that was my toughest decision. I can’t wait to get them in my truck. :)

Has anyone had any issues with their heated seats with these covers on?
