Maybe just the ink on the box was made in China. No. I am certain the covers were made in China. I used to work for an Austrian international manufacturing company and know packaging rules. Not stopping me from using them but I would have probably thought a little more before I purchased. I guess as long as they don't cause cancer they are ok (i.e. laminated flooring from lumber liquidators made in China using formaldehyde).

From their website: "Clazzio is hand made in factories in Japan, China, India, and some are even made right here in the US."

I didn't see that because I never looked at the faq page. Just going by my conversations with Clazzio. Its all good. I am sure its not the only part on my Tacoma that was made in China.

I wish they were American made too but since they are not....I'd still buy them if they are the best choice.

You might as well start throwing out your clothes, shoes, phones, computer just to name a few things.

Just wish the seat covers they offer didn't look like a blanket laid over the seats

Those covers are just that....A custom fit blanket you can throw over easily for protecting your seats from debris....Not the usual seat cover as we know it.

I think only the floor liners and maybe a couple other things are made in the US. My hood deflector and side window visors are made in Germany

I know and for the purpose they serve I'm sure they are a very solid product. The main reason I don't have one of them for my dog is that I own an access cab that has the back seats removed.

Tell me about it. However, when I have an option made somewhere besides China, I take it. Even if it costs more.

yep, I suppose I am going to get these as well. I also noticed the made in JApan versus Made in China some time back, Glad the previous poster mentioned it.
So I am sold, but I just cant see myself getting the black. I sure hope the dark grey will look as nice...

yep, I will gladly pay more to avoid china made stuff in general... I wonder if anyone out there has had these seats for a while... say 5 years that can comment on how well they hold up. I wonder how long before the driver side will need to be replaced. I know my sheepskins on one of my Tacomas lasted 16 years and was still going strong.

I like the black with dark gray insert myself.

I'd like to see some photos of different colors as well.
