I just received my covers today so I went ahead and installed them. The best advice is to take your time, use the tool provided and work the edges all around.

Yeah, I have to agree, I'm very happy with the outcome. This whole community has been great in making my Taco that much better, even if my wallet hates me.

I got it! Just had to use the tool. Thanks for the advice! These covers are amazing and well worth the money (I tell myself that about every unnecessary mod I do). Gonna break them in for a couple weeks and tighten everything up again

Thanks! I took my time over 3 after work sessions. Probably took 4 hours total. Worth it though! I showed them to my neighbor and he didn’t understand what I installed because he thought they were factory seats

How come in one picture the headrests aren’t embroidered and the actual seat is embroidered with “trd” instead?

You can also see that truck is an access cab not a double cab

Ones with the headrest logo are Clazzio, ones with the TRD in the lower section are Katzkin

Question for those that installed the Clazzio's. Does adding the leather seat covers add any support to the seats, making them more comfortable?

    Thanks,

    Steve

My bad, that 3rd pic was from a pic we started the design off of. I edited the post.

As someone else has already pointed out, yes, it is a drastic difference.

Mine started to tear at the seam in that spot while trying to work in under using the tool, it seems like the cutout in the cover is about a 1/2" off from where it needs to be in order to neatly tuck under the plastic. Everything else lined up though. Guess i'll be doing some stitching this week then trying again on a sunny/hot day.

I'm surprised mine did not tear...I agree that it seemed a bit off and mine still doesn't look perfect. I can live with it though. Might try and rework it later onAlPNGOgLTkiuaYtb8zLzAg.jpg

Yea after i repaired the seam i got it tucked but it is still bunched up at the back edge. If it bothers me that much i may just bring it to an upholstery shop and have them trim and re-stitch the pass through. All in all, I am still very happy with the covers. Even the vinyl side panels are very soft and look great.

Just placed an order for the PVC black/black/grey stitching that they had in stock. Can't wait to install them and make it easier to clean up after the dog and son.

I also added the three year protective plan due to the dog...no black/black/black leathers available so we will see how the PVC hold up
