Aright y’all, as badly as I want to get my seat covers on today since they’re supposed to come in, I ordered this heat kit and will be placing the double seat single switch where the factory ECT button is since it’s a dead button now that I have the MESO shift knob relocation on mine:

More pictures coming and I’ll try and include some installation pictures with write-up.

Got my seat covers! Put on the headrests already and will slowly put on the rest throughout the week and this weekend:

Nice! You got through the hardest part. I think the headrests took more time than the back seats. I had the fronts and heat installed by a pro so I can’t comment on them. Based on the charge though I don’t think they were that difficult.

Mine came in today and will probably install a portion after the Saints game, at least the driver seat.

Yeah man! I'm very excited for the outcome. I'm glad I am finally putting a functional switch in place of the original ECT button as well. It will be nice to have heated seats this coming winter. I have a feeling it will be a rough one.

BlazinBlue - I didn't check back on this thread after posting. I really don't recall where I got the seat heaters, but it was either Amazon or Ebay, as I bought them nearly a year ago. The kit I got looks just like the Clazzio kit pictured above, same single switch with the rotary adjustments, backlit blue. I don't recall if I posted it here or on the "What have you done to your 3rd Gen thread", but the kit I received had no directions in it and realized this when I actually opened the box, when I open the Clazzio shipment box just a few weeks ago. There are only four wires to connect to the truck, obviously a positive and negative, then a secondary red wire with a yellow stripe and a white wire. I was guessing the secondary red wire was from the ignition, so when the truck is off the seats shut off, but the white wire was a mystery to me. I was introduced to a friend, who does a good bit of vehicle electrical work and he checked the harness and ID'd the secondary red wire for the ignition and the white wire for connecting to the parking lights, so the switch itself illuminates when the dash lights come on. I hope to get mine finished this weekend. Good luck with the install - Bill in MA

I am planning on getting my Clazzios once funds come in.
My truck is at the body shop, and my loaner car is a Lexus UX F Sport.
I love the ventilated seats, and since Clazzios are perforated, I wonder if a similar system is possible.

I actually also really like the UX F Sport overall.

There probably is not a comparable non OEM kit that you could put in that wouldn’t drive you insane. I would think that Clazzio would have a kit for sale if a decent one was available. It hasn’t been long that most luxury brands are coming with vented seats. They were really only in a handful of vehicles in 2013. my 2017 Sorento SX has cooling seats and so many 2017 luxury vehicles didn’t come standard with cooling seats. It would be interesting to see someone do cooling seats though.

Shouldn't those seats be like all blue?

Do explain :). Are you referring to the blue turf and blue home uniforms? Lol. I’m not super thrilled with how light the blue is but I also didn’t want it the same blue as my truck.

I was indeed referring to the hideous blue football field. I can't watch a game played on that field, I feel like I'm on the verge of having a seizure. I was really just clowning, I actually like the seat covers you pictured but with a more fitting logo (LSU) Geaux Tigers!

You are the first person I have heard call it hideous lol but I figured some folks out there probably felt that way. Understandable. I can’t figure out to this day how they’ve been allowed to wear blue on the blue turf for this long. Hey man, get you some black seats, purple bolsters and yellow stitching with the LSU logo in the headrest. That would look great.

Not sure how warm it is where you are but let the covers sit out in the sun for a while before attempting the install. Trust me it helps alot!

Watching it in person is much easier on the eyes. Idk I’ve never had a problem with it. I think they’re going to do well.
