great. The black actually looks black in your pics. Clazzio must be getting tired of me tracking my order twice a day. Still in production. I hope the custom order is worth the wait. Fortunately I have two minor projects to keep me busy. Ordered some BBP paint to do the dash bezel and the dash "Tacoma" inserts from rrentrop in blue. I am hoping with the black/blue with blue stitching and blue custom Toyota symbol Clazzios my interior will have a nice look to it.

Didn't I say about a two hundred pages back in the "what have you done today" thread that I was done doing mods??!! I blame all off you for your creativity!

Placed the order for a set of dark grey clazzios today along with their heated seat kit. Can't wait...

Sorry if this has been covered, but why the price difference in the heated pads? $119. $149. and $179. and it looks like the only difference between the three is the type of plastic switch you get?

If you email them, they will respond pretty quickly. I'm sure they can answer your question better than anyone on here.

excellent... good job. Which interior truck color do you have? Have you seen any pictures of the dark grey inside the new Tacomas? That is what I believe I want to order. I got some samples on order yesterday. I just dont see going with the black... the interior is already dark enough and black will get hot. Why are you going with Dark Grey? have not seen any pictures of the dark grey inside charcoal or the black interiors.... would love to see some.

Hey Denver, I have the black interior with dark grey cloth seats. I also ordered a color swatch and the dark grey seemed to match closest. I didn't want it to look like a cave on the inside.

I don't have the tech package but really wanted heated seats. I did a lot of research and found that the Install Bay product sold by Clazzio is a Metra product which gets solid reviews. I got the ISBH2 because it had 2 separate switches. To install, I bought the lower trim piece in the center of the dash that comes in trucks with the tech package. That trim piece has the cutouts for 2 additional switches plus what's in my truck now. I want the heated seat switches to have a factory look. Will report when everything arrives.

Also interested in seeing the dark grey! Currently have black on order but may cancel and re-order in dark grey if those look as good as the black.

There are some dark gray on the "what have you done to your 3rd gen" thread. The gray look classy as well. I think the black mixes well with the black steering wheel wrap and black door panel trim. I showed a coworker today and he thought they were factory seat skins. I imagine the gray will be slightly cooler on hot days too.

Guys. Just received mine today! Ordered Thursday night. Confirmed order Friday. Received Monday. Excellent quality. Customer service called to confirm my fold seat. Great service. Used the Tacomaworld coupon code. Blk/blk/blk for a 2013 dc and was stock! Only did front seats. Rear tomorrow night.

I was afraid the cushioning would raise my seat height and it did. I'm 6'3" so I don't have a lot of head clearance to spare, but I don't mind the extra cushion.

One tip. When I unhooked the front seat cover from the bottom, i pulled the flap that's tucked and I stuffed a small cushion between the seat foam and rear seat springs. There's plenty of room in there and I wish I did this years ago.
It adds the lumbar support these seats lack.
Gonna buy a set for the wife's car next!!

For those that have this, what tools (if any) will be needed? I didnt know if there were any tools - like narrow spatulas that were used to help push out wrinkles and make sure the corners/edges were on point? I've seen some upholstery people with these "tools" but didn't know what they were called.

    Coupon code Tacomaworld.
Price was $499. Discount was $75.01so I payed $423.99. Free shipping via FedEx

No tools needed just your hands and patience. They did include a little plastic tool to help with tucking and stretching, but I didn't really use it.

the plastic tool is really handy. My review on the seat cover! wow! wow! It so comfy and so pretty to look at and make the seating a little higher. best interior mod for the money or any money.

so how much higher did it raise the seat. I am already way paranoid about adding seat height as I just clear under the moon roof bezzle as you. Are you going to have to do the mod to the moonroof bezzel now? Any idea how much it raised the seat. this is one of my biggest concerns. thanks for the input

I think an 1/8 of an inch, but it enough to adjust the rear view mirror up a notch.

Maybe an inch higher? The back cushion also pushed me forward a little, so had to adjust seat and mirrors slightly. It's still 10x's more comfortable than before.
Try folding a bath towel in half then half again then put on seat. That's about how much it raises it up.

holy crap, if they raise the seat that much I can use them... or if I do I will have to do the moon roof bezzel modification.
that seems like quite a bit. I am hoping the 1/8" feedback before yours is more accurate?
    can others comment please?

i will try folding the towel comparison and see where that puts me. thanks for that.
BTW, is there any way you got dark grey... I'd love to see photos of dark grey in the charcoal interior.
i have not been able to find any on here. seems like 90% of folks get black.

1/8" max. Not much higher but much firmer. They are roughly 3/16" thick when they arrive. They cushion down at least 1/16". I have had mine on for a few days and have not made any seat adjustments.
