Anyone install these in the cold? Generally it’s about mid to high 30s here in ct. I had planned on waiting until summer since I’d guess the install would be easier but am getting impatient

It will be really hard to install those in the 30's unless your in a garage that is heated. The heat will help you stretch them over the seats so they sit like they are supposed to. Also the cold will make it ever rougher on your hands. I did mine on a sunny upper 40's day and it was not that bad but I can see how warmer weather would make it even easier.

I’m thinking I’ll wait then. That was my original thought but then I start thinking it won’t be that bad right? I know I’d get half a seat done and start cursing myself for being stupid

    Question for clazzio owners -

For those of us that get the interiors of our trucks dirty on a regular basis, how do these clean up/hold up? I get in and out of my truck dirty a lot, and get mud and snow in it a lot. I’m looking for a seat cover that’s holds up and cleans up well after getting very dirty. I do clean my interior often, but it gets fairly beat up.
I don’t want other seat covers, I.e. wet Okoles or carhartts. I want the stock look of the clazzios, and I like leather. Thanks!

One of the main reasons I always end up with Clazzios is that they clean up so easily. Thats one of the main pros of leather or vinyl.

As far as holding up, Ive had both their vinyl and leather covers, both lasted longer than me keeping the vehicles. Had leather/vinyl combo in my s2000 for 4+ years, looked brand new, although the leather section was wearing faster than the vinyl.

Since then I've owned 2 sets of the quilted vinyl ones and both looked brand new after 1-2 years of use. I will be going quilted vinyl again in my Tundra.

Here were the Clazzios from my S2000 after 4+ years. The leather centers were just getting little creases, but still looked new unless you were like a foot from them.

Awesome, thanks for the reply. I’m sold. I just want something I can beat up and not worry about.
Now I just need to decide on color. I like the look of all black the best, but I know it’ll get hot here in the UT summers. Hmmmmmm

Another question - does anybody have or can anybody take a picture of the clazzios in Dark Grey? Either fully dark grey or just dark grey insert.

I’ve looked through this thread and looked at pictures - in some the dark grey looks dark, and in others it looks lighter. I’d appreciate it if somebody could share a picture

Does anybody know if these effect side airbag operation at all? Just curious.

    From the Clazzio website FAQ:

Q: When I install Clazzio, what will happen to the side impact airbag?

A: We use thread designed for the side impact airbag. It has been proven that Clazzio does not have any effect on the deployment of the side impact airbag

That’s what I have as well, I do wish I’d have gone with red stitching to match my truck but didn’t wanna wait the extra time. You won’t be disappointed in your purchase

Yeah, I don’t really wanna wait. Red stitching is such a minor detail too. I just need some more durable seats for my truck. I’m already seeing a little wear on my drivers side fabric seat after 2 years and 24K miles.
