Did you cut out squares in the back panel for the supports to fit through? I took my panel off last night and fitted the cover but then went chicken-shit about the fitment of all the supports! I still would like to do it but am curious as to how you are preventing further tearing of the vinyl? I thought about having my seamstress wife possibly running a finished hem and cut out the center but that's kind of a bitch.

I purchased a used tacoma with Clazzio seat covers. Is there any easy way to tell what material they are? The textures seem very similar in the photos on here with regards to PVC vs. leather.

Is there and id tag with a part number under any of the covers?

Every piece has a tag, but they're hidden. You have to completely uninstall one piece to see it. Honestly I don't remember what was on the tag. It certainly didn't say "PVC " It will have a part number like "P10" that designates front passenger headrest or some such. But I can't say for sure if it has a unique code for material. Maybe if you took a pic of the tag and emailed clazzio, they could decipher it for you.

I will say this: the PVC looks a lot like the perforated leather. It even has the grain. Hell, I've had a lot of "pleather" vehicles that looked a lot more cheap and fake, from factory, than clazzios lowest tier PVC. I bet that one might be able to tell the difference if we compared PVC vs leather side by side, and I certainly volunteer my truck to be the PVC half. If anyone's in DFW with perf leather, let's meet and compare for funsies. But standalone, the PVC looks quality. I can't tell that it's the cheaper option.

Big fan of PVC here too. Only potential downside is that it's a bit stickier than the leather in my other vehicles, my butt doesn't quite slide as much.

Got the rears installed today. Took them out and did it in my front room. Put the covers in the dryer for a bit to warm them up. Went on nicely. Will do the fronts tomorrow. Have to do seat warmers also. Will be taking them out to install as well.
Holy crap they feel nice and soft. BTW they are the cheapo PVC but damn they feel real nice. I bet no one will be able to tell it’s not leather.

That's a great job with the install! I had these on both my 1st taco and my tundra, they're super comfortable... might be the next thing to do in the new taco!

Finished up the front seats on Sunday. Installed the eBay heated seats with the stock style rocker switch. Haven’t wired them up yet.

    Has anyone gotten the purple?
Wondering if that would match my blue crush metallic. I got a blue sample and should have asked for purple as well :(

Alright I must be crazy but I like these covers so much I just ordered a full set in the black leather. I will keep the PVC for 5-6 years while I am still working construction but after I retire I will swap out to the leather. I bought now because I have the money to spend on them. I know crazy but I will be set for when I retire.

Clazzio's arrived around 2 this afternoon. Took about 3 hours to install. Opted to not take out the seats as I didn't feel like it. Pretty easy installation. Fingers are sore lol.20220415_154018.jpg 20220415_172831.jpg 20220415_172923.jpg 20220415_172847.jpg 20220415_172937.jpg

Couldn’t imagine doing it in the truck. Good job though.

I put Clazzio a 2018 I had with seats in the truck. My 2021 I took the seats out. So much easier with the seats out. I must really be slow. It took me a lot longer than three hours.
